Cocobohéme is a Parisian company manufacturing environmentally friendly, stylish interior decoration products. The company was established in 2006 by two young designers, Catherine and Christian Fouchard Mégevand. In 2011, the two opened their first shop and showroom in Paris.
Cocobohéme’s concept is based on interior decoration items that play with contrasts and unexpected details. Their best-known product is a peephole decoration, which comes in the shape of an owl, sparrow, frog, fish, chameleon and an octopus.
The designers Catherine and Christian Fouchard Mégevand proudly present their French products that comply with the principles of sustainable development.
“Ecological values and sustainability guide us in our design work. It’s also what our customers expect, just like the fact that the products are manufactured in France,” says co-founder Catherine Fouchard.
Fairy-tale animal figures made of KoskiFlex
Their product range consists of charmingly sweet and clever interior decoration products, featuring various animal figures, among other things. The simple decorations are also in tune with Scandinavian tastes.
“I’m inspired by my childhood fairy tales and books, especially when it comes to the animal figures,” Catherine says.
Currently Cocobohéme uses Koskisen’s KoskiFlex plywood, but KoskiDecor eco transparent is an option they may consider using in the future – especially since the company expanded to designing furniture in 2013.
KoskiFlex is the material for their best-known and best-selling article, the peephole ornament, but also for other products, such as bookmarks, postcards and hanging animal decorations. The two designers have more products made of thin-veneer plywood in the pipeline.
