Koskisen’s Plywood products were prominently displayed at Artek’s exhibition stand at the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition in Milan. Artek’s Managing Director, Mirkku Kullberg, says the stand was the best in the company’s history and received more attention than any of the company’s previous stands.
The International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition in Milan attracts more than 300,000 visitors to the city every April. The fair, featuring the very latest in interior decoration, is one of the biggest events in Milan.
Koskisen had the pleasure of presenting its plywood products at the exhibition stand of the internationally esteemed Finnish furniture company Artek. At more than 150 square metres, the huge scale of the stand required a considerable effort on Artek’s part. The goal was to design and execute the stand to the highest standards.
- We waited five years to collaborate with German designer Mike Meiré. Exposed wood in its natural form was strongly featured in his stand design. In a sea of black and white, clinical-looking fair stands, ours was open, dynamic and close to nature and it received a lot of attention. It was definitely the best fair stand in our company’s history and we received glowing feedback on it, says Artek’s Managing Director, Mirkku Kullberg.
According to her, the co-operation with Koskisen was excellent.
- It is important to us that our partners are engaged in the same strong product development as we are. Koskisen is an extremely pleasant and flexible partner to work with, and our co-operation will continue without a doubt, she concludes.
